Argor-Heraeus makes its one-ounce bar in two versions. The KINEBAR carries a hologram on the bar itself, which changes as you tilt it. The bar on this page is the standard minted version without a hologram: it shows the refiner's logo, the weight, the fineness 999.9 and a serial number on a smooth, polished surface. Both contain exactly the same amount of gold, so the choice is a matter of preference.

How to check your bar

Each bar arrives sealed in a transparent blister card that also serves as the certificate. Compare the serial number printed on the card with the one stamped on the bar, and check that the seal is intact. As long as the blister remains closed, a future buyer can verify the bar in seconds, which is why we recommend that you do not open it.
