The design side

The Kookaburra plays an important role in Australia because, according to legend, a god ordered these birds to greet the morning with a loud laugh to wake people up so they wouldn't miss the sunrise! The value side

On the value side, you can see the world-famous likeness of Queen Elizabeth II looking to the right. On her left shoulder, the initials ‘JC’, the initials of the coin designer Jody Clark, are emblazoned in small letters.
