Nadir Metal Rafineri was founded in 1967 by Nadir Tütüncü and initially specialised in recycling old gold from the jewellery industry. Nadir has been active in gold refining under the name ‘Nadir Metal Rafineri San. ve Tic. Ltd’ since 1993. In 1999, a cooperation between Nadir and Degussa Allgemeine, now AGOSI, led to the establishment of ‘Nadir Allgemeine Ind.Trade.Co.Ltd’, in which the Nadir family acquired a majority share. Since 2006, Nadir has been registered as the joint-stock company ‘Nadir Metal Rafineri San ve Tic. A. In 2008, Nadir was accredited by the central Turkish gold trading centre, the ‘Istanbul Gold Exchange’ (Borsa Istanbul). The first international accreditation took place in 2008 at the Dubai Multi Commodity Center (DMCC). In 2011, Nadir's gold bars were also approved by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) at the world's most important gold trading centre in London. A year later, the LBMA also accredited silver.

On the front, you can see the weight and purity (999 silver) as well as the manufacturer's stamp ‘Nadir Metal Rafineri’. On the back, you will also find the manufacturer's logo, but here as a pattern.
