These gold bars are produced by the mint "IGR". Behind this abbreviation stands the company "Istanbul Gold Refinery Inc.", a subsidiary of "IGR Global", which is headquartered in the Turkish city of Istanbul.

The Obverse Side

Embedded in the oval shape of the bar, you see the abbreviation "IGR" as a prominent inscription with raised letters. Below this, you see the number "100g," indicating the weight of the bar. You also learn that this is "FINE GOLD" with the numerical indication "999.9", referring to a fineness of 99.9%. Below this, framed in an oval shape, is the "IGR" logo. Below that, a serial number is stamped.

The Reverse Side

On a smooth surface, you again see the "IGR" logo arranged diagonally. This gold bar comes with a certificate.

About IGR - the "Istanbul Gold Refinery Inc."

The company was originally called "Halac Jewelry Limited". It was founded in 1995 by Mr. Halac, who comes from a family with over half a century of experience in the jewelry industry. In 2002, the company merged with the "Istanbul Gold Refinery" and has been known as "Istanbul Gold Refinery Inc." since then. The mint has been certified as a manufacturer of gold bars by the "London Bullion Market Association" (LBMA) since 2011. The range includes both minted and cast gold and silver bars.
